Getting ready for the Jog-a-thon!! April 13th!!

Dear Bohemia Families,

We are excited to announce the 2018 Jog-A-Thon Fundraiser! This year the goal is to raise $15,000 in order to pay for enrichment programs at Bohemia Elementary.

What is the Jog-A-Thon? This is Bohemia’s largest fundraiser where families, friends and neighbors pledge money to support the students as they run, walk, skip or dance laps around the school’s track during a 30 minute time period. The Jog-A-thon takes place during your child’s regular school day. All students will participate, unless there is a medical reason why the student should not participate.

How do we raise money?

Sponsors may sign up to pledge a flat dollar amount and/or a per lap donation. Students will have three weeks to obtain pledges.  After the Jog-A-thon, students will receive a lap card stating the number of laps completed.  The students will have one week to collect pledges and return them to their teacher by April 20th, 2018.

Can I get involved?

Absolutely! We encourage all family members to join their students as they run, walk, skip or dance around the track.

After the Jog-A-Thon, students will have the opportunity to earn prizes as a way for the PTC to say “thank you” for their hard work and returning their pledges on time.
